My Background
I've been sketching and painting for as long as I can remember. My dad is an artist, so I was learning to shade and add value to my earliest drawings. If you pair my artistic background with my love of architecture and design, a creative career in interior design was an easy decision. If my education and experience has taught me anything, it's how important it is for humans to feel connected to their physical environment, especially their homes. Let me help you strengthen that connection and create a one-of-a-kind piece that may adorn your walls and be a part of your family for years to come.
My Medium
There's something about the fluidity (literally) and whimsy of a watercolor painting that appeals to me so much. Maybe it reminds me of the illustrations from childhood storybooks, or maybe I love it so much because it's practically impossible to ruin your brushes. Either way, I think watercolors are the perfect medium for capturing the charm and style of your home.
My Inspiration
I love everything architecture and design. If I felt like adding to my student loans a little more, I would take Design History and Art History all over again. Terms like Neoclassical, Georgian, and Italianate, make my eyes light up, and like most designers, I worship everything Frank Lloyd Wright ever touched.
